Featured Guest Coaches:Pat Tyson - Pat Tyson is presently the Director of Track & Field at the legendary prep program South Eugene High School. Prior to this position, Tyson spent one year at the University of Kentucky, coaching the distance running program in Lexington. He also previously spent time as the head coach of a perennial power boys program at Mead (Washington) High School. As one of the nation's most well-respected prep distance coaches, Tyson spent almost two decades building Mead HS into a nationally dominant group. Beginning in 1986, Tyson's Mead harrier squads amassed an amazing dual record of 145-6, and his distance runners combined for 26 individual state titles (TF/XC) and 12 state cross country team titles. At the elite prep level, he has guided harrier teams to seven top-five national rankings. In the fall of 2004, his squad placed third in the Nike Team Nationals in Portland, and was a surprising fourth again in '05. Individually, he has guided nine runners to the Foot Locker National Championships - tied for the second-most of any program nationally. |

Dale Kennedy - Dale Kennedy is a member of the Montana State coaching staff for 26 years. Dale has coached the women's cross country team since his arrival, and took over the men's program in 1996. Kennedy has built both the men's and women's cross country teams into national powers, as evidenced by the 11th place finish in the NCAA Championships in 2002 and the women's 15th place finish in 1995. During his career at Montana State, Kennedy has lead the Bobcat cross country and track and field programs to nine championships and seven runner-up finishes in the Big Sky Conference. |

Other Staff - Members of the Flathead International Track Club will accompany the athletes and coaches during the running sessions. Some of the camp's former participants will be back in the roll of camp counselors. Many of these runners are now competing on college cross country and track teams. |

Bill Brist - Currently the cross country coach at Whitefish High School, Bill won the 1983 USA National Junior Cross Country title and competed in the World Junior XC Championships in Gateshead, England. He ran for Montana State University, and coached 4 NJCAA All Americans and one NJCAA National champion in cross county while coaching at Flathead Valley Community College.
